Glendower Hotel - Goodwick

The staff were super helpful, breakfast had a great view, and the bar was full of friendly locals. The only downside? The parking was a bit of a hike. A charming place to unwind!

The location is central, near Goodwick or Fishguard, and the 9:15 ferry from Rosslare.

Recently refurbished room, we had budget twin room, with central heating, an iron and ironing board, and tea/coffee making equipment. The food was good and there were a lot of dishes in the menu

Dined like royalty with scrumptious grilled dishes nearby, especially at Gary's Fish Bar. The stay was cozy and invigorable, especially after a long drive! Staff were fabulous, and the laid-back bar atmosphere made for a good evening.

Despite the charm, the place feels a tad dated, which might put some off. And honestly, given the pricing, a little sprucing wouldn't go amiss .

The hotel had a central setting in pub opposit.

Breakfast options included a tasty cooked variety, and the coffee was plentiful. The parking situation could be improved, as it was somewhat inconvenient, situated a bit far from the main entrance.

Hannah stayed late to greet us from the ferry.

The recreational activities kept us entertained. There was even a chance to play darts! The full Welsh breakfast was a hit, satisfying everyone's appetite. The staff's friendliness added to the warm atmosphere.

My wife says that the parking situation could be better.

Comfortable stay! But parking is a challenge

The room facilities felt just right, cozy retro vibe with comfortable beds. Engaging with locals in the pub was a highlight. Their hearty cooked breakfast was a standout, keeping us fueled for adventures ahead.

We played darts and went wind surfing. The hotel offered plenty of coffee at breakfast and the cooked meals were great. The view was fine, overlooking the sea. It's a great spot for a group getaway and to explore the surrounding area.

Very clean and cosy stay with great staff

My room was super clean and had a real charm to it. The staff were really good, especially Hannah, who made sure I was welcomed late at night and even hung around for us arriving after the ferry. The breakfast was traditional and satisfying, just what you need to start the day right. I wish the cost was a bit more reasonable for the dated decor, but overall, the experience was enjoyable.

Great location for exploring the coastal path and easy access to local amenities. Had a blast chatting with friendly locals at the bar.

Would definitely recommend for a quick trip

Cozy room, friendly staff, with a lovely bar area perfect for mingling with locals and a hearty breakfast that kept us energized for our adventures, while being conveniently located just a short drive from Cardiff Airport.

Everything was really good.

No complaints here, it was a really good stay. the room was simple but nicely redone with a comfy double bed, and the staff were super efficient. 👍
